  • Define an understanding of abnormal behavior from both scientific and clinical perspectives.
  • Discuss the definitions of abnormal behavior.
  • Explore different approaches on abnormal behavior.
  • Discuss the possible causes of abnormal behavior.
  • Explain assessment, diagnoses and treatment of various forms of abnormal behaviors.
  • Critically evaluate DSM and ICD 10 classification systems.
  • Recognize the importance of the cultural-social perspectives and prevention strategies.
